Avocado Yogurt Dip For A Happy Brain

A super simple + delicious dip that will give you the healthy fats you need to stay energized for the rest of these cold months + protect your brain from oxidative stress.


If you haven't learned to love avocados yet, now's the time! Avocado contains glutathione, a master anti-oxidant that is important for helping the body excrete many toxins. Glutathione helps prevent damage from oxidative stress, especially for the brain. Let's eat up them avos, people!

This recipe uses whole food and is super-powered by the probiotic content of yogurt.

 

Go grab your ingredients.

  • 1 large, ripe peeled and pitted avocado

  • 2/3 cup plain greek or goat yogurt

  • 1 heirloom tomato, diced

  • a pinch or two of cayenne pepper

  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste

  • Drizzle of olive oil

Let's make this dip!


Add the avocado and yogurt to a bowl and blend until smooth. Stir in diced tomato and cayenne. Season with sea salt and black pepper to taste. Drizzle the top with olive oil.


Keep in mind...

Serve this chilled and make it within an hour of serving for best results.
